Ok, so im pretty good at fifa 2004 for XBOX now, and im about to crank difficulty up to world class because i always win on professional by atleast 3 goals. But before i do i must know how to skill outdefenders?, for me using jostle never works, i always run into the defender. i try to go into that skill mode thing but all that happens is i step over ball or do a fancey turn or somthing but just end running into defender or getting tackled stood still. Is their some sort of technique for ragging players?, because i cant recall a succesful skill once?

Everyone has that same problem. I was never actually able to pass a defender with any sort of trick move. Instead, I just make a lot of good and accurate passes to get the ball forward.

Yea me too, i reckon for Fifa 2005, one thing to improve on is the skill moves, not over exagurated skills that are way easy to pull off like fifa 98 lol, but somthing decent than is atleast possible

I agree.

Either improve the skill moves or reduce the dribble turn delay (or even apply both these suggestions), 4 good... have you noticed how long players take to make a turn, while in possession of the ball? Even Ronaldo..... that sux :f***:

I tried to modify (reduce) that setting in FIFA 2004 AI config files. It has improved a little bit, but still they take too long to turn, very unrealistic. Dribbling in FIFA 2004 -- only by accident.... :kader:

lol, yea defenders were pulling off some pretty special skills, i reckon skilled fowards like Henry, Ronaldo ect. should get fancy skill like they pull off in real life, while fowards like Allan Smith should get like a tap foward then a shoulder barge lol, Unless they are sombody special i dont think defenders should get skills, well just basic skills really.

good point jobo.......but EA isn't going to bother researching who has fancy moves so i guess we have to wait a few years before EA finally decides they need to improve the Fifa series.......although this is a great game, it has a few too many flaws in gameplay

that sometimes just boggles me lol. its their job to make a video game yet they are so lazy about it. i was producing a video game i would want it to be my pride and joy ya know? i dont get it, i would work my ass of on it if i was getting PAID to make a video game.
