Help me with Free Kicks and 1on1 situations on PES 2008

OK, so I have the game and I cant win any because I have 2 major problems:

1) How shall I act on 1on1 situations? Goalkeeper ALWAYS punches the ball away either with his arms or legs. I just dont know what to do and thats a strange problem. Should I use some kind of tricks or shooting technique?
2) Free kicks. I cant take ANY of them, and thats because I dont know what shooting power I should post. I mean, if I get it a bit low, ball literally ALWAYS bounces back of the players' wall. And if I get that power a bit deeper and get that green meter longer, ball just flies over the net. Free kicks in PES 2008 looks unreasonable and painly difficult for me. Does it all depend on shooting power? Is there some kind of technique or something?

Okay some tips:

1) Use the shot feint, causing the GK to dive early and then shoot or dribble round and slot it in. Also try the chipped shot, if the GK is coming out, you can dink the ball over his dive.
2)Hold change player button when you are powering up, it helps cause an arc on freekicks. If your freekick is 24-28 yards, use 50 percent shot power. If closer, use the long range pass button, this can be used as a shoot button in closer freekicks. If the freekick is longer than 28 yards, choose a player with a powerful shot, like Riise and hit 75 percent power, holding down on your pad after striking to keep the ball flat.

Hope this helps.

Kindest regards,

u have to practice freekicks in training mode to get good at them. i am personally like taking freekicks with henry because i have pretty much mastered the technique from within 28 meters out.
