yes, obviously i am new here. stating the obvious is surely a sign of higher intelligence. Perhaps it was a bad file that I downloaded, perhaps it is incompatible with something else. Perhaps the fault lies with EA for making a (sometimes) inferior product. I also shouldn't have been so quick to judge, but I also apologized for getting so mad. Surely you can all relate to the frustration of a game that has lots of lag, especially when the other team enters the box and there's a slight freeze that skips ahead to them having scored, and all of a sudden you're out of the fa cup. After so many reloads, reinstalls one can get a little frustrated, no? (I exclude those of you who actually made suggestions about how to fix) Obviously, if I thought monkey dragon was a waste of time I wouldn't have dowloaded his stuff over and over. I'm just trying to find a way to make the game work, with or without the patches at this point. If this is indeed a forum then perhaps suggesting solutions or something even remotely helpful, rather than resorting to the blind rhetoric of pro monkey dragon dogma, would be a better step. Or, maybe you should all follow your hero's example and actually offer some help. Thanks, MD, I will send you a message.

Thanks for being so reasonable. No disrespect meant with earlier thread, just super frustrated. So, here's the problem.
Installed the game.
Installed the manager mode fix. (the one that stops it from crashing after playing one season)
Installed your lighting, sound, and cinematics patches.
Installed the sponsor patch
Installed a few teams (Zenit, Lokomotiv, Dynamo, Spartak, Shaktar, Nineties XI) via CM09
Did manual roster updates (this took a long time) because the roster patch was causing problems. However, since I still have those problems maybe I should go back to that. I have heard of other problems with it, though I don't do online play maybe they won't affect me.
My game is fine for maybe up to halftime in one game. Then it starts to get jumpy, freezes briefly (like game lag) especially when opponents enter the final third (ie about to score). Makes the game basically unplayable. I have tried to follow all read me files and instructions. How can I fix this without redoing all that rostering and spending hours at it before I can play again. Each time that I have reinstalled I have deleted everything- deleted your patches, deleted other ones, deleted EA folder, deleted FIFA09 in my docs, etc... Dunno what to do next...
again, no disrespect, just frustration.
