I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to actually win 50/50 balls. In case it matters I'm playing this on a PS2.
I know in the manual you use X to pass to a teammate, square to lob, triangle to head and if you don't dop anything you trap it.
My question is how do you actually win the dang things? I can only manage to win maybe 1 out of every 10 50/50 balls. And that is only if I pound the heck out of the header button.
Can someone give me some tips or tricks? Maybe my timing is just way off or I'm not doing something correctly. Do you have to do something to get posession of it before you can use one of the other buttons to head/pass/lob it to a teammate?
