I got a replacement graphics card when my other card died after 6 months, they sent me a x1650 512mb card. But PES6 keeps crashing, and when the game is running there look like a heat shimmer at times where the game looks a little fuzzy.

I had the latest drivers , but I then rolled back to the last ones and its still the same. My other games seem fine?


Game or card? the card that I had was a GF6600GT and when it was working the game was sharp and clear and no fuzzys periods.


I cleaned out all my saved games and goals but that didn't help, last night the game froze but the sound was still playing and then it started up but in slow motion then froze again the monitor rebooted.

Mate you'll have to turn on 'Veritical Sync' in your graphic-cards software to get rid of the "heat shimmer".
About the game crashing i have no idea. are you running windows vista maybe?

I took out the CCC, and then could not adjust anything! uninstalled drivers and then reinstall the ATI CCC , something wrong!

All my games play but when I went to try PES6 again with the reinstalled drivers and ran tests with DX the game frozen 2mins after kickoff! Got this high pichted hammering sound, sounded like one of those road-drills..


If anyone can think of anything, I can't be ar$ed uninstalling it and then reinstalling all the stadiums and whatever ..


But if no one can help I will have to do it ..
