Help, Ultimate Team Not Working

i have installed so many mods that my ultimate team is not working.

i can play single player any mode, but i can not play online any mode

when i join a game and start to play, a few seconds in, a message pops up that says your opponent has disconnected, something like that.

i have repaired my game with origin, and it is still not working.

please help

i can connect to easfc just fine

Rename your FiFA 16 folder, then download and install a new copy of the game. Use the new copy for online and the old copy for offline.

I'm confused, I thought modded versions of the game don't work for online play.

So... download a new clean copy to use for online play, and only reinstall whichever mods allow the game to work online. Seems simple enough.

Why spend days or weeks screwing around with the modded files, trying to MAYBE figure out the problem? Obviously the simplest, fastest way to fix the issue FOR SURE is to download the game again, then simply reinstall the mods, one at a time, checking each time to make sure the game still works online.

Wait wait, hold on a sec. I have two copies of Fifa 16 in my hdd too. One is modded, other one is Vanilla.

But even if I double click fifa.exe from the vanilla version-it loads the modded files. I confirmed that the vanilla one doesnt have mods installed. Vice versa happens if I keep fifa 16 mods on backip fifa folder.

Hey, graphics mods shouldn't interrupt Online play. Unless you modify the db (database).

You could have downloaded the game, reinstalled the mods, and had your game working by now if you'd followed my advice.

Oh I see. So fifa.exe always detects the game from its original dir. Might have somethin to do with fifasetup always reading fron registry files.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

I think he has limited bandwidth and slow speed which might be the reason its not working.

A simple solution is by removing the bh files, mods from data folder and then regenerating.

And always backup your db files. From my experience, I just had to replace the db files from backup to play online again.

Simply Keep 3 folders in the directory, FIFA 16, Modded and Vanilla, drag and drop all files dependent on what mode you are trying to play.

Hey, graphics mods shouldn't interrupt Online play. Unless you modify the db (database).
