Hi. Could somebody please tell me how to delete players from Rinaldo's wonderful FIFA Database Master without the game crashing. The obvious reason for deleting player data being that players have retired or just gone to another team that does not exist in the game. Many thanks in advance.

Help with Db Master

Safe answer - wait for Rinaldo's Creation Master 07, which will handle all the behind-the-scenes nuances for you.
As to why it crashes when deleting a player using DB Master, have you also made sure that you've deleted any references to that player in other tables?? At the minimum a player will appear at least once in the teamplayerlinks table and possibly in the teamwrite table entries for the team captain and kick taker entries.
I would also suggest that if you are changing the FIFA.DB by adding or deleting players that you should make sure that you don't have a 'D. My Squads\D. My Squads' file (because that makes reference to string values held in FIFA.DB and if you've move them by your changes then all hell will break loose) and you obviously won't be able to load any existing manager or tournament mode files (for the same reason)

Cheers for that Steve. I think my main problem was the fact that I had not deleted the "D.\My Squads" file and I had tried to erase the player files on other sections of the Database with Db Master. However, I think that I will follow your suggestion of waiting for Creation Master as it seems to be the safer option for those of us that are technologically challenged!!
ps I am assuming that by using the up and coming Creation Master you will be able to take players out of the game a la Creation Centre?
