Help with Saitek sd2500

I went and brought this pad today...and to be honest it plays fantastic (needs practice though...i think i'm too used to keyboards at the moment)...

What i've found irratating is that for some reason when directing with the analog stick and pressin the shoot button at the same time i seem to bring up the game menu??? what the hell is this???

I know once I start using this online players are gonna be pissed off if every time i line up for a shot the menu comes up...

something must be wrong somewhere....can anyone help please...Saitek users must of seen this.....

I've found what is causing this. The analog sticks on this pad act as buttons when pressed down...the right stick when pressed down acts as the start button...which explains when setting up a shot I must be pressing down on the stick to trigger the menu

Another question: does anyone know how to disable this????

I guess the questio is:

Does anyone know how to disable the start button (which is triggered if the left analog stick is pressed downwards) on a Saitek SD2500???

I know you can edit the registry to get the right stick to work...so maybe there is a edit in the registry for disabling this.)

I also have the Saitek P2500 Rumblepad and i've done everything that was said in the registry, but the right analog stick still dont work!! What is it exactly that i have to do to fix this problem, because i've done all the registry hacks that was told in this forum but nothing resolved this, I have Windows ME
