I just had a flash of immages from the crystall ball. Someting about a bunch of old men in suits with FIFA badges on their breast and a home video of Kahn's push on Wise...I heard somebody say "replay"...could it be????

Here is my crystall ball prediction for the England Germany match.....
O.K. now its time for my prediction….
England will come out very strong again…They will be fired up and all their fans will be very loud. The German fans will be loud too but they will calm down and get very, very quiet when Dennis Wise scores first…probably a rebound from a shot by Scholes...oh, I’d say at about 7 minutes into the game. Germany will not play very well at all early in the game…and England will attack and attack the German goal for the rest of the half…Kahn will be awesome though, and save at least 2 sure goals with great stops. Lothar will be very mad and be yelling at the other players trying to get them to do their jobs. Just before the half…Haessler will make a foul because he is very frustrated…and Beckham will line up for the free kick from just outside the D on the penalty box. I’m sorry my friends, but he is just too good with free kicks and it will be 2-0 going into halftime.
Something will happen at half time… I can’t really see what it is because my crystall ball is kind of cloudy…but I see Lothar yelling and screaming and the other players. I also see Lothar and Janker about to fight but the team separates them and they make up. (Janker is too big for Lothar to fight)…When the teams come out…Germany is completely different…they are focused and play very well…but it doesn’t look like it will be enough because, although they are playing better, England is still doing well and Germany just cannot penetrate their defense. There will be many, many, many fouls… and Kahn will save Germany at least 3 more times…this time the saves will be so important because if it gets to be 3-0, it is over! Jeremies will foul Scholes at about 78 minutes and another free kick…Beckham again from about 28 meters. Another great kick…over the wall and the ball curls in heading for the net, just inside the left post…but, …. Out of nowhere…. Kahn’s big hand swats the ball out of bounds. German fans will say ”Whew…” and get very scared. Beckham will be very frustrated. Jeremies will bump Beckham and laugh at him saying that Posh Spice is really ugly and Beckham will kick him. Oh, oh. The ref was right there RED CARD!… But there’s only 10 minutes left to play and it doesn’t look good for Germany.
Germany will take out Hassler and put in Ulf Kristen… Ribbeck all of a sudden begins to yell at Lothar and says something about the English right back being very tired. Germany will attack that area… but the clock is still ticking and now there are only 7 minutes left.. You will be sweating and biting your fingernails… At this time you will have been watching the game and drinking beer so you will have to go to the bathroom…you just cannot hold it any longer. While you’re in there you will hear a lot of yelling and celebrating… when you run out of the bathroom it will be 2-1… but nobody will tell you what happened or who scored, all you will hear them say is that it was an AWSOME goal, they will not say anything more because they are paying attention to the game like you should have been,… the TV will not have time to show the replay because now there are only 4 minutes left and the action is too fast. Germany is attacking desperately…wave after wave of attack. I’m sorry, but you will never know what happened and who scored. You will not even see the replay on the news later… You will learn a lesson then, my friend…never go to the bathroom during the last 10 minutes of a match. You need to take care of that during halftime instead of watching the TV commentators talking nonsense. Now, there is only 2 minutes left and Germany is still attacking ferociously…England with only 10 men is pinned back all inside their own box hanging on for their life. Keegan will then make a substitution… Southgate for Shearer. This will take precious time off the clock and the English players will be taking so long that you will be very mad. Now there is less than 1 minute left and it really looks bad for Germany. England still cannot get possession of the ball, though.... and Germany’s attack is relentless…about this time your wife (or girlfriend… ) will ask you a question, something like “Which of these dresses do you like better?” You will not pay attention at first, but she will yell and demand that you listen to her…just as you turn your head to tell her to wait until after the game, you will hear: …..”GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” ……. I’m sorry, but you will not see that goal either…all you will see is the German team jumping on each other going crazy and the fans celebrating like mad…you will also see Michael Owen look like he is about to cry. Again, you will never see that goal…even on the replay…because you need to learn to pay attention when the game is on. But, I will tell you what happened: It was Oliver Kahn! Yes….the goalkeeper …he ran all the way downfield and got into the penalty box…there were not enough English players to cover him because they were already down to 10 and Big Oliver pushed little Dennis Wise down to the ground as he was running up field …the ref was not looking in that direction because all the action was on the other side, in fact the TV cameras did not even see it… Wise will complain about it forever…Hey, all is fair in love and war and this is definitely a war. Just as Oliver got into the box, Mehmet Schol kicked a vicious cross from the left wing that hit Big Oliver right in the head, almost by accident…Seaman did not have a chance and now its tied….2-2, … What a game!…But there is no time left in regulation and the assistant ref indicates that there is only 2 minutes of extra time. The English are going crazy complaining about Oliver pushing Wise down…they just will not leave the ref alone…All of a sudden you see a RED CARD come out of the pack of players surrounding the ref …Oh. Oh…who got the card….you now see that Lothar was also in the middle of the players yelling at the ref to get the game stated but you could not see him before because he is so little….was the card on him??? oh my gosh………..no. It was on Wise!!!! Now its 11 on 9, with 2 minutes left.
The first minute and a half go by without a real scoring chance…Germany is trying so hard but England has all 9 players inside the box ...they are fighting like LIONS and it’s too difficult to get a shot. Time is running out and Germany is still attacking like mad…only 25 seconds left. Then it happens.
Hamman…to Ziege in the corner back to Babbel at the top of the area…to Lothar, he sees Cartsen Janker’s bald head,…he is wide open…Lothar cannot believe it. A great pass and Janker has a clear shot…nobody in front of him…the clock says only 6 seconds left and Janker stops the ball…it looks like its happening in slow motion…you scream “SHOOT” (Except in German) and …he does. But he took too long…!!!!! Sol Cambell appeared from out of thin air and got his big butt in the way … Janker’s kick was very powerful and Campbell’s butt barely touched the ball, …but was it enough????…. it happens so slow…he definitely changed the direction of the shot…but it looks like it could still go in. Adams dives at it with his feet…no use…he is too far away…its just the ball and Seaman now…he dives, stretches…lunges his arm…extends his fingers and grunts…”AGGGGGGH”.
You jump out of your chair, spill your beer…and then hear “clank”. This is happening so slowly its killing you. You recognize the “clank" as the sound of ball hitting a metal post…! oh the drama! It hit the inside of the post…bounced on the line…right on top of it…and went right to Seaman…but he was not ready for it because he had just hit the ground after diving…it hits him right in the face and squirts away…the ball is just bouncing freely inches away from the goal line… all the players are confused they cannot get to it…some don’t see it others cannot reach it…others are blocked or have fallen…but, you, my friend, you see it very clearly…its just right in front of you …bouncing aimlessly with the goalkeeper disoriented. IT’S RIGHT THERE…on your big TV…but you cannot do anything about it! … It bounces 2 or 3 times…but for you it seems like 50 bounces…in slow motion…it’s like torture…you even see a big black shoe…a Reebok…, must be English, swipe at the ball and miss…its still right there in front of goal…but nobody can seem to get to it...time has to be out…the ref has the whistle in his mouth ready to blow…and then….out of the right side of the screen...you see a black Addidas shoe… make contact with the ball just before Seaman's big glove touches it…you see a German player slide into Seaman and a big pile up…it now happens so fast!…you see the Number 10 on the back of the German player’s jersey but its just a blur…then the ball squirts past Seaman and disappears behind him…it barely rolls over the line and settles into the net inside the English goal. Three more players crash into Seaman and you hear a whistle. 3-2 Germany.

Now that I hear that Collina will be the ref, I wonder whether it was really Cartsen Janker that took the shot that hit the post. Could it be that it was Collina that Matthaus spotted in space in the box ??? How else would you explain how wide open he was inside the England box at that point in the match. If so, could it really be that the Italian lost his mind and actually took a shot????? Why, he's more dangerous in the box than Del Piero!!! The ramifications are mindboggling. Especially in light of the flashes I saw about the old men in suits with FIFA badges conferencing ... Stay posted I have to look into this!
