Have any of you guys checked out "Heroes"? It's the best new show out there, the first few episodes looked very promising. (Y)

Yep. I started following it after seeing its ad on tv.com. Got the first six epis, and never went back.

For all who wants to know what Heroes is about,

From creator/writer Tim Kring (NBC's "Crossing Jordan") comes "Heroes," an epic drama that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.

As a total eclipse casts its shadow across the globe, a genetics professor (Sendhil Ramamurthy, "Blind Guy Driving") in India is led by father's disappearance to uncover a secret theory -- there are people with super powers living among us. A young dreamer (Milo Ventimiglia, "Gilmore Girls") tries to convince his politician brother (Adrian Pasdar, "Judging Amy") that he can fly. A high school cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere, "Ice Princess") learns that she is totally indestructible. A Las Vegas stripper (Ali Larter, "Final Destination"), struggling to make ends meet to support her young son (Noah Gray-Cabey, "My Wife & Kids"), discovers that her mirror image has a secret. A fugitive from justice (Leonard Roberts, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") continues to baffle authorities who twice have been unable to contain him. A gifted artist (Santiago Cabrera, "Empire"), whose drug addiction is destroying his life and relationship with his girlfriend (Tawny Cypress, NBC's "Third Watch"), can paint the future. A down-on-his-luck Los Angeles beat cop (Greg Grunberg, "Alias") can hear people's thoughts, which puts him on the trail of an elusive serial killer. In Japan, a young man (Masi Oka, NBC's "Scrubs") develops a way to stop time through sheer will power. Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world…

Joining Kring as executive producer are Dennis Hammer (NBC's "Crossing Jordan") and Allan Arkush (NBC's "Crossing Jordan"). David Semel ("House") executive-produced and directed the pilot. The drama is produced by NBC Universal Television Studio.

Banned for Life [He likes P. Diddy]
This show is one of the worse new shows this season, I don't understand why people like it so much. Studio 60, Smith (which got cancelled) and Jericho are all better shows then Heroes.

I still watch it though :(

I heard it's great but the premise sounds really stupid and corny, I have nothing else to watch until Lost starts again though so I'll probably check it out.

It is a great show, the first episode is not the best one and would turn you off. Every episode after that only makes you get interested more in the story, at least that is how i feel. i agree with the post above :rockman:

That's what happened with me. Haven't seen a single one after.

The extremely low-budget for special effects is something you don't want to have when you're making a Superhero tv series. Anyway I may see the rest as you say, because it must be #1 for a reason...

Oh man, I'm thinking about watching this show. At least once every week, my chemistry teacher starts talking about this show for 5-10 minutes.
Half the kids in the class are watching it so maybe I will in the summer when they have reruns.

You really should've have put Heroes-TV SHOW in the title of this thread to avoid confusion.

why are the "Heroes" now finally finding their Powers??

How did the Scientist find all the names of those who are "different"??

Why wasn't Hiro able to change the past??

Of course i am not loosing sleep on these questions, just thoughts that crossed mi mind :ewan:

I think the black dude can neutralize powers when he's around.
Yep, seems like it. But I'm wondering whether Mr Bennett has any powers.

The scene where Hiro in the past was speaking to Hiro in the present was hilarious.
And we finally got to know something about Sylar.

SPOILERS!

i'm still trying to find out what's the purpose of Mr Bennett... only to protect his daugther? hmm, i don't think so, and who is the black dude? why does he have the same symbol on the body that Niki/Jessica has...

why does Mr. Bennet and the black dude retained the cop who can read minds, and then we just wakes up at home like nothing happened?

Niki's son Micah seems to have some hiden power too...

Many questions solved now finally, but still many to solve. Hiro is ******* hilarious...

Interesting show so far!

PS: Sorry if i wrote any name wrong

Micah can repair anything that is electrical, just using his mind. But Mr. Bennet still remains a mystery as to which side is he on and what purpose he has...
