Sorry if this has been posted before.

As you are probably aware of, Henrik Larsson has turned down the offer from Barca to extend his contract for another year, and has said that he will return to Sweden. This sparked much speculation on who he would sign for, with us from Helsingborg of course hoping he would choose to come "home".

And well, it looks like we'll get what we want, the major newspapers today suggest that it will be made official in january but that Henrik has already made the decision to join Helsingborgs IF after the world cup.

I'm just so excited about this!! :D :D :D He is a brilliant player and will add so much to the team, not to mention the fact that we will get a massive crowd boost. WELCOME HOME HENRIK!!!!!!

I just saw this on the channel Euro Sport News.
It is good for the "old" players to go back to their homeland to enjoy football. ;)
Veron will also go back to his homeland at the end of the season.

ps. is Euro Sport News channel popular among other countries? I just found this channel in my cable tv a few weeks before and it looks quite good.

spot on. sure he went to a big club, but i guess he sees now that he made a mistake.
by the way, does anybody remember Maxi Lopez? maybe if he stays in Barca for a little while, he can again save them for total disaster against Chelsea ;).

The injury he picked up at Barca in his first season affected him and he was pushed to the bench after recovering.

I don't think he regrets to have signed with Barça at all.

Stall's at Shrewsbury now. Went there after the loan with Notts expired at the end of last season. Shame we couldn't keep him, could do with another striker. Nevermind a whole new team...

Am however so chuffed about this that I can forget about Notts misery for a while!

I think Maxi Lopez is looking for a move in January. The name West Ham has been mentioned, probably as an initial loan move with a view to a permanent one.
