I'm droolin... So 'separated the ball' means that they made it look like the PS games... Cuz I like them better, but then I hate PS, so I stick with Fifa ;-).

The best thing is that's it's NEW! For the FIRST time from fifa98 the Fifa is NEW!!!

It looks better than heaven...

In short, I think THIS time we hit the Carlos*pot pals.

Though I hear some crap about the AI around corners and such... But that's BS.

Fifa owns.

imo it doesnt look to promising, appears to be more of the same & whats with the speed, im sure they will have the option to slow it down tho as they usually have.

Not long till the demo so we will find out sooner rather then later peeps

seems that when the player sprints, the ball goes forward and then return a little to the player, also the control of the ball is too easy and it's fast very fast. But it is awesome!:rockman:

I have seen the movie a couple times, and i LOVE it, it looks so real, but the defenders from inter are defending bad beceause it is not the computer but the player, but the defending from Dortmund are doing well, and the nets looks reaL too, i cant wait for the demo:)

yep just like i thought same old s***t from fifa, pinball action but i´m waiting for the demo to confirm other year other crapy game.

the only good news i´ve heard so far is that Ea is going to stop making fifa game have year (thank god for that) so they can have more time for big improvements.

What do u mean like fifa 2001? It's already known they've removed power bar for short passes and we'll c is it better or not.

But I'm disappointed for another reason. As we can c on this movie, when one team comes near opponents box there's - like usual - no one holding the back. Look at the radar - everybody's on the Inter half and there's only two defenders marking two Borrusia strikers waiting for a counter attack! U can also notice that in Real - Manchaster when Real's taking a goal kick and there's like five MU players standing and waiting at the opposite goal. And they dont look like coming back.

Damn u ea, on sg chat u claimed u have fixed stupid players positioning on the pitch! :kader:

my thought about the video:

First of all, I'd say massive improvments from previous FIFAs. Looks like they've fulfilled part of their promises. We'll see how the AI turns out later.

1) The ball definitely doesnt stick to the player's feet. However it lacks inertia and "finesse" compared to PES. The passes also feels too fast and "perfect", it doesnt really bounce nor drag like a real ball would, like it's sliding instead of rolling on the pitch. A step in the right direction nevertheless.

2) Player models and animation is still the same as in previous FIFAs which is too bad. I hate FIFA's model and animation, sure the face looks realistic, but the body looks disproportionate-they more like ogres instead of humans. The animation still look exagerated and weird they should have hired batter and less agitated actors for the MC. They should take a leaf out of PES's book and make the animation moderate but effective.

3) The players physic is still quite primitive. They dont seem to have much inertia, they turn too quick, and dribbling the ball seems a bit too simplistic. It feels like the player is following the ball instead of kicking it around. Player to player contact doesnt seem to great either, they dont feel like they're really struggling for ball they just want to be ahead of their opponents and cutoff the ball cleanly, which rarely happens in pro football. They just barely touch each other, and made no effort to get the other player off the ball. Needs more work here.

All in all looks quite promising. It looks like WE3/Goalstorm98 gameplay but with the gfx updated to current standard. Definitely not the same old sh*t. But no idea about AI yet. And still a long way to go for EA BTW.:brow:

I have recently saw the large higher quality video, I LOVE THE GAME!, it's very similar to PES or WE...
The only error I note is that the players are waaaayyy small!!!
Yeah, the pitch is bigger you may say, but the players are tiny!!!

Don't know why... anyway it's lovely, and I can't wait for the demo.
