Well I know that the French 2nd Division will be featured in the game because of the Ligue Nationale de Football licence, so going by Ewan's thoughts of the green team in the pic being Saint Étienne, I'm wondering if that team in orange is actually Lorient.

They play in orange shirts, black shorts and white socks and have a few black players in their squad.

i mean, the green team in the pic looks like they gotta sponsor on their shirs, and surely ea arent that thick that they dont know that holland dont wear white socks.

it pretty unclear its says kluivert on that shirt and who the **** is that player standing next to him supposed to be then???
if its seedorf then ea once again dont know **** about what these players really look like.

Honestly, that's not Holland...

I looked at the name on the back and it seems as if it starts with RO, and oddly enough, when looking at FCL-Lorient's website, their number 9's name is "Róbson"...

Other giveaways to suggest my theory is that if you look very closely at the players near the goal area, you can just about make out a sponsor logo.

look at FC Lorient's jersey: (the orange one)

and compare it to this zoomed in pic of the game (i know its blurry) Doesnt the jersey look the same, seems to me it is FC Lorient.

Yeah you are right! IMO the Dutch national team wont be in 2004. Guess we patch makers will have to do something about that

Good point, I think the green team is one of the teams that Matt asked for kit photos of. At first I thought it was Ireland, but upon closer inspection it's clear.
