Using Man City, a team that is decent, hosting LEEDS... gd.. LEEDS UNITIED....

Gave up an early goal for tripping Alan Smith in the box, Viduka made no mistake from the spot. 1-0.

Fine, i thought, and 1 minute later, responded with a great individual effort with Robbie Fowler! 1-1 into the locker room.

2nd half, for some reason, they came out flying and Viduka quickly turned out a hattrick and i find myself down 6-1 after a few missed offside traps. (Side note, i was quite good with the offside trap, getting Real to go offside 17 times a game earlier)

Finally salvaged some dignity by scored 2 more and make the score respectable.

D**N that Viduka.

AFter that, i wanted revenge, and took my lucky team Turkey against Viduka's Australian team. WIth my pride, I was not going to man mark Viduka.

Hassan Sas started with a great goal, all but won the game. Then Viduka levelled at the 87th minute! D**N!

OT we go, with no goal rule, Suker scored off a free kick after he was subbed in. 4 minutes later, guess who scored again? Stupid Mark Viduka!

2nd Half of OT, Sas got another brillant goal and it was over.

My hat off to Mark Viduka!

AND I LOve THIS GAME BECAUSE OF IT.
If anyubody was gonna lay down money and say I would lose 6-3 to a CPU 5* team, i would bet my life savings.... gotta love the unpredictability of PES3.

You should do what I do, go for the player with a few bad tackles. If I'm playing a team where I know a certain player could mean my demise, I start the game with a 2nd string in the position where he will most likely be confronted with the other team's star player. As long as you take him out from the fron or the side, you escape with a yellow card. I then sub another player ot that position and take him out again. If I get another yellow card then sub a third player to that position. Normally by this stage you will have injured the star player or his match condition will get so low he'll be subbed. When he's off the field I sub on my 1st choice player to continue the game.

Ok, I haven't done that very often but it's a last resort!

For some reason, I always have a freaking nightmare playing against Rangers. Not sure why and it's no particular player. I can come off of a 5-0 stuffing of somebody like Liverpool and then lose 3-1 to Rangers! They seem to be my curse team (along with Aston Villa - I mean, how do you explain that one?) I don't know if it's certain team's attacking styles or what but I remember I was playing a ML season and I got beaten 4-2 by Aston Villa at Home in the 1st leg of the 3rd round of the cup. I'd played a 15 minute game. I figured, what the heck, I can beat them in a replay and score at least two goals at their place. To make sure I made sure in the second cup leg I upped the game time to 30 minutes. Guess what? I was 2-0 up in the first half after about 35 (game) minutes. They scored just before half time to make it 2-1 at the half. No problem I thought. Then in the second half it was a nightmare. They scored 3 goals and I ended up losing 4-2 again!

Freaking great though!

Man, those FIFA graphics are hideous. Everything except his head looks like a burns casualty victim and overall it just looks like somebody has cut and pasted Beckham's head on a really poorly rendered body. Give me PES3 graphics anyday. At least PES3 looks realistic. That FIFA pic is worse than trying to stick Britney's head on some porn pic or something!

I must say, I do like this aspect of PES. I have had plenty of bogie players in my time of PES & WE. I haven't had such a problem with the newer one. I don't match up against Viduka much but I think in the game I did play against him he was fairly difficult to play against

Strange, had a similar thing here. Near the end of a 5* master league season which I won by 11 points (using your Liverpool ML option file), I had to play Villa, all my players were in good condition with green or better enthusiasm arrows, Villa were playing with only nine men for much of the game, yet I struggled to keep hold of the ball and ended up losing 4-1.

4-1? With my Liverpool team that had beaten Real Madrid 4-1 and 3-1 in the Champions League group stages, I get tonked 4-1 by nine-man mid-table Villa. Absolutely bewildering.

I think cpu learned your style playing.
Same situation was with pes2psx (I'm sure u know about it).
When I played pes2 after, let's say, 20-30 matches it's getting much harder to win over cpu, BUT in case if u delete save folder the game come back to the previous stage and u could win easily.
And of course, I'm not gonna delete my pes3 save folder
