If you dont care/know about Hajduk, or croatian football, dont post crap in here, im going to explain as much as I can for those interested.
I don't have an english link yet, but from what ive read in croatian news, this is f*cking disgusting.
Luka Bonacic, coach of HNK Hajduk (a team that were champions in Croatia 3 times in the last 5 years), was beaten by a group of hooligans with sticks outside his house, and is in the emergency section of the hospital in Split.
He's only returned to the coaching place of Hajduk a few weeks ago, because the club was (is) in crisis, but he turned alot of things around in those few weeks, and got a few very good results.
The reason for the beating?
The past weekend, Hajduk played a game, in which they needed 1 point so they remained in the top part of the league (12 teams, after half a season it splits in half, 6 top teams still have a chance for the championship, bottom 6 fight for relegation). They got that 1 points, and qualified for the top 6, which noone wouldve predicted a few weeks ago, but after the game, the fans of the team went to the lockerrooms to have a "chat" with the players, because they werent satisfied with the team.
Bonacic said after the game, that any of these fans have the right to yell, curse him or his players, but noone has the right to beat up his players, and if they want to do that, they have to get past him first.
Obviusly they did, and now hes in the hospital.
I hope there are a few Croats here with which a debate could emerge...
I posted this because hooliganism is the most dispicable thing i can imagine, and i just had to share the sentiment here. Besides that, Bonacic is a good man. Things just aint right in this world, and theres f*ck all you can do...
