"Hot Fuzz is a 2007 British police action/comedy film written by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, known for Shaun of the Dead and Spaced. It is directed by Edgar Wright and produced by Nira Park.

icholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He’s so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel’s superiors send him to a place where his talents won’t be quite so embarrassing -- the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford - where there hasn't been a recorded murder for twenty years."

Anyone seen this yet? It came out in the UK yesterday and I think to the rest of the world some time in April.

Watched it on day of release and it is focken quality, i'd say Shaun of The Dead is slightly funny, but this is a great laught. Lot of British talent in this, Bill Bailey, Steve Coogan, Bill Nighy, Frost and Pegg. Great laugh, highly recommend it.

I'm very much looking forward to it after the superb SotD. There is the serious risk that it will be a big disappointment, but I'm still banking on a winner. Hopefully will see it over the weekend.

Just watched it tonight. It's alright. Not as much comedy as expected, though, and it definitely drags on for too long.
