In the U.s they aren't any chants for any sports. Just real loud music and some keyboard making you say "Defense tin tin Defense tin tin". Most of the chants are insults and very repeatitve.
Gringos will be in awe if they ever attend a boca- river plate match. Amrican sports consiste more of sitting in your fat ass and buying hot dogs.

Great, I have to defend American sports...
MLS fans may be crappy and unpassionate (probably due to lack of talent on the pitch) but to call American sports fans unpassionate is ridiculolous. I mean, have you been to a college football game? People are crazy. There's chanting (not like soccer, but it's there) people never sit, they paint themselves, they CARE. Or pro sports. If I was in the Bronx of NYC and said the Yankees suck to some random stranger, I'd probably be jumped by him and 10 other New Yorkers. So don't stereotype American sports fans by MLS fans. That would be like me stereotyping European sports fans by NFL Europe fans...
"It is not credible," he said. "The true pointer of the values of the national sides is the World Cup. There you understand who is the strongest. We take Mexico, in the classifications they are fifth but with all the respect I cannot believe that they play a soccer better than England, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Argentina. Italy, for example, are only found at 14th place, but compared to the other teams, they play less."
This year, MLS welcomes its first French player, Colorado midfielder Gilles Grimandi, who came from Arsenal in the English Premier League. South Korean World Cup hero Hong Myung Bo joins the Galaxy. Longtime U.S. national team forward Earnie Stewart signed with D.C. United after 14 seasons in the Netherlands. Joe-Max Moore is back in New England after three seasons with England's Everton.
