on my first game for the jv team the coach only let me on for 3 minutes and then took me off. I don't know why he took me off. He put me in center midfield and I ran all over the ******* field. I got back into defense, won two balls in the center, and made runs up front. This was more than everyone else on the team did the rest of the match. In training I can't keep up all the way with all the runs but I'm always the best in anything with the ball and I sprint faster than the rest of the team.
Don't tell me I'm not good enough. The results so far have been 3-0, 6-2, 7-1, 11-0, 2-0.
Does this mean I'll never get to play?

HA! only 55? In our junior school league, there is always only ONE team who gets over 50 players trying out every year and they are always winning the league, the rest get 25-30 max!

I made it to practice late today (Chess club, where it is important I come) and only made it to the scrimmage. A lot of kids laughed at me when I came because they figured I wouldn't show up every again, but I set all that straight in a little bit.

Lol I wanted to say that, just in other words and with a bigger text size. Something like this:
'Cause you SUCK!
But I decided on not doing that, because perhaps it would seem a bit offensive and I didn't want to dent his self esteem even more. Oh well, life is hard.

Y'know, I once played soccer for my school team. Soccer ain't big here in Australia and I'm reasonably athletic and was much more skillful than the majority of the rest of my team.
Like you, EugeneF, in my first game, I played 7 minutes in the first game, set up a goal which put us in front 1-0.
4 minutes later, I was subbed off.
I asked my coach 'why did you sub me off?'
He replied 'because you turned up late to training, and although you are a skillful player, other players on the team laugh at you and when you do come to training late all the time, you always perform poorly in the running department which is the most important aspect in soccer.'
Moral of the story: You're Screwed
(Oh, and if you're wondering, I never played another game after that game and we finished last in our division )
You should switch sports because if the coach doesn't like you (which he obviously doesn't) and you dont have the respect of your team mates, you might as well just switch to a sport like Grecco Roman Wrestling or something.
