How could you support more then two teams?

I support Man U since I was 11. Yeah, that was about the kung-fu kick incident. To tell you the truth I didn`t care much about football back then. But then in the morning durin` the holliday, I saw a sports news showin` a French guy kickin` the hell out of a guy. And that French man didn`t show any fear at all to all the supporters who taunted him. And it took several men to pull him out off the crowd ( lucky ****in` crowd ). I found out that the guy`s name is Eric Cantona. I admired his guts and his bravery, and ever since then Man U and football has become a part of my life.

If only it was Tony Adams or Ian Wright, I`d probably be an Arse fan by now. Fortunately, it was Eric the King.

I support another team tough . . .

It`s the New York Knicks in the NBA . . . :crazyboy:

And as for local team, my local team is dead, bankrupt like Fiorentina. There`s another local team, but I hate them . . .

I never understood fully how you can support a team miles away from you....

But ofcourse who am I to say that? I live here in a area were for most people Ajax is a big part of their lives and that's the way I got involved into them. I was 4 or 5 when I first saw them play.

I never understood the mentality "You can`t never be a true supporter of any European teams since you live outside Europe"

Try imagine yourself an Asian, African or American

I see that some Europeans can`t get the discriminating mentality out of them. Some of you will always discriminate, no matter what. Yeah, kick out racism out of football my ass . . .

Calm down. I didn't discriminate anyone. If you could explain the feeling of love for a team that's way out of your area. There must be a footyteam in your neighbourhood. Your complaining there's no team you can support well it's more because of you cause you don't go support them so they have no money from tickets and so the go bankrupt

Read my post, my local footy team is dead. Other than that team there`s no other team except the derby rival. You can`t expect an Everton supporter to support Liverpool, that`s for example . . .

Now, I don`t have much choice do I ? What, should I support the local kindergarten team ? A team, which captain is young enough to be my son ?

Again, imagine yourself livin` in a third world country out of nowhere, and maybe you`ll understand . . .

Read my post I sayd that if you would've supported them and the rest of those ppl who support europe teams would've also did that they wouldn't had gone bankrupt.

OMG, do I need to tell you that I`ve supported them since they`re in freakin` fourth division ? :|:|:|

And if lack of tickets sellin` is what you mean as the reason that they gone bankrupt, then you`re being naive. The Asian monetery crisis and the sponsors did that. The sponsors screwed us and the club. And the monetery crisis caused most of the local clubs to collaps. The team simply doesn`t have enough money to pay the foreign players and lots of other ****s. We supported them through thick and thin, but hey, since back then we`re also some poor Asians with no money, what the **** can we do ???

And yeah, by your final statement you still show how discriminative you`re  You still implyin` that we can only support our local team and not your glorious team

I don`t have time to reason with you. The types of you are always ignorant no matter what. You can never put yourself in our position and imagine about how do we feel.

I was born and bred in Newcastle but we moved to Lincoln a few years back. I can't afford to attend Newcastle game very regularly so i support my local club Lincoln City around the country.

First comes the team in my sig, my hometown team. But im also a fan of Real Madrid, because my favourite players are Figo, Zidane and Roberto Carlos (they became my favourite players when i saw them play for their NT's). I dont know why some people here find it strange if some of us support 2 teams. Ofcourse I'd root for my hometown team if the 2 ever met, but that doesnt mean I cant support Real Madrid if i love to watch them play.

and I agree with enigma. when i watch a football match, no matter who's playing, i'll pick a team i want to win. its just more fun that way :). The only time i wouldnt pick a team is when one of these three played eachother: Arsenal, Porto, Juventus :).

Curious that all 3 bigger teams you "like" recently won the league...

Also, the ones who switch clubs every season are just the same and probably even worse than those who support multiple clubs.

Yes. I always want one team to win, often it's just the lesser of the two evils.

I support Bayern since I was 5 and my national team.

I cheer to most German teams in the Champions League and the Uefa Cup.

About two years ago I liked Arsenal but they became too cocky nowadays. (H)

I support and live for my local club, but follow Real Madrid and Hull City b/c us americans need some high quality european teams to follow.

I don't know about Asia but here in Brazil attendance money is not the clubs' main income and it's been like that for a few years... sure, it'd be if we were to seel out all those 100k+ stadia but to do that week in week out we'd have to drop the prices and then the income wouldn't be much higher (if at all, since my local team went for a gung-ho tactic last month... the tickets were R$ 1.00... which is about U$0.30... with kids and women not paying.... attendance was like 5000 for a stadium that holds 10000...)
for the bigger clubs, TV money is all that matters... and thanks to that we have matches starting 9:40 pm... that's so awesome for the workers who have to wake up early...

About loving a club that's out of your area... well... it's like a band you enjoy listening to... I know, it's weird for a while but you can get used to the idea... also tv only covers big clubs so if you go to school kids will only talk about Corinthians, Sao Paulo and the like so if you wanna talk to them you have to follow one of them... I don't see how supporting Liverpool is different.......
