How do I get rid of this mofo????

I ran Spybot on its ass..... three times.

I ran Adaware... it detected it (i think so) and removed it, but it's still there! I ran it again, and it didn't detect anything.

WHAT THE **** IS THIS ****!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

****in annoying, gives me ****ty pop-ups, and changes the search page if i enter a wrong address....

Help!

can you go to control panels and uninstall the toolbar? it might just be that simple. also, if you have system restore on, you might not actually remove the files. update your ad programs and try scanning while in safe mode.

OHH GODD!! i HAD THAT SAME CRAP! i so much ******* hate it dude! You see all u have to do is go to program files and delete all folders starting in uncapitalied letters..ull see they have suspicios names..
theres like 10 ******* folders, delete them all; theres one u cannot delete, ignore that ****. Dude, i understand u, its so ******* bothering! You should be able to solve it tough!
By the way, searchexe.com is somehow realted to that stupid crap, so dont use that webpage..

If your going to use HijackThis!, show the log to a trusted person, who knows what they're doing. I go to http://boards.cexx.org (not a porn site--honest!) whenever I have a problem. Click on the Spyware--Help! forum and post a new thread.

You can also download CWShredder, which removes anything related to CoolWebSearch (THOSE COMMIE BASTARDS HAVE RUINED MY LIFE!), which basically screws around with your web browser. That can be found on the same site as HijackThis!

norton systemworks has a web cleanup which u can select to remove some plugins and activex bull****s. It may be able to delete it.

First I did what Hanek said but it didn't help...

Finally today I got off my ass and downloaded HijackThis, and it fixed the toolbar... and then I found the entry that caused the popups

I'll scan it again later to see if there's some more stuff

Dude, it worked for me.. I dont know, try to do what I said again, remeber DELETE ALL the freaking folders starting with uncapitalized letter (theyre like 12). Theres a folder I coudnt delete, its called "dataforkmess", if u have it, its the same problem I had i guess and u should be able to solve it the way I did.

hey kader , i got this **** on the exact same day you posted this thread, it was sooo bloody annoying, and the hijack program only got rid of that **** for like 2 hrs then it came back, i got rid of it for good with CW shredder

I had this crap a while ago, can't remember how I picked it up but it pissed the hell outta me.. That Hijackthis program works very well...
