How do I goal on a header!?

I can't seriusly figure it out! everytime I cross the ball for a header, he misses wide of the goal.. If I use the arrows, he misses even more, and if I dont he misses just a little? But he never heads it between the two crossbars...?

When you cross, try to make it so that your player runs onto the ball, so that he heads it with penetration. Pop it up on a defender so that hes parked underneath it and stranded, and your player will win a clean, uncontested header 90% of the time. Be sure of where you want to place the ball, and just tap the header button because the speed the ball is crossed at would be enough to help it glide between the uprights. Good luck.

are you using the keyboard?
if you are, i would say get an analog gamepad... once you master that you'll be scoring more goals than adriano!

lol, dude 80% of my goals are headers

u should choose a tactic with wingers, like a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 (non diamond), and attempt a cross from outside the area... then just press shoot for about a second and if the player is reasonbly strong and a good header he'll send it in

headers in this game are like the easiest ever..........idk wutsa going on......

but on the computer it is prolly harder

OKay, im playing with Liverpool, and Ive got a 99 all around stats man hehe...And yes I play 4-3-3 and I press the button for about 1.sec...? Still cant get it in?? I have absolutely no idea what to do?

if u press the button for too little its not good cuz then i think that would be a low cross.

also, try going to practice mode and playi9ng just ur team vs their goal keeper and try hitting a few crosses.
hold tyhe buton just a bit longer and see wut u get.....just an idea....

low cross is a double tap. but if you manage to get a low cross to your striker, you'd get a goal 90% of the time

I had the same problem...

I realized that I was pressing the "shoot" button for too long while heading. You have to just tap it. If you press it even a little longer than just a "tap", the ball will go over the bar.

Try in practice mode first, without any opponents (well, just the goalkeeper). Once you master this (the "tapping" while heading), then you can practice sending the cross while the forward player is entering the area, like it was explained before.

let me explain...
1st. you run towards the oponents goal
2nd. look for an own player in the area
3rd. send the cross
4th. head towards the goalbox
.......got that bro.........ok let me explain it for real

the easiest way to score on headers is on corners...cause i jus push the defender back about 3 times and i have the area all to myself....i just point towards where i want to head it (sometimes aiming strainght towards the keeper doesnt work) try aiming to one of the corner, but be carefull...sometimes the header goes way WIDE!
