How do I make a copy of ISS PE2 on my hard drive?

How do I make a copy of the disk, so that I can play it from my hard drive as opposed to the cd rom. I have a 52 x cd-rom however that is not helping much.

Will the game run better off of my hd?

Go to www.goldenhawk.com and download latest version of CDRWIN.
Then select Extract Disk/Tracks/Sectors from main menu.

Extract mode - Disk image/cuesheet
Select your reader then the location and name of image file
Check Error recovery-ignore then start

I'm running an image off of HD with VGS using Daemon tools and it runs smoother than PSX, no more stuttering in intro movies and in game is perfect.
