How do I praise players

I have looked around evreywherer in the manual, and I can't see it. It came up once as an option to do, but only after there was speculation over madrid buying Christiano Zanetti.

CAN you do it whenever you want, or only when the game lets you.

Yes. If he has played 5 of yor last 7 games then go to action > Release media story > Praise/criticise.

I have found it there, but I can only select it sometimes, even with guys who have played my last 9 straight

It does not always work, however, EP3 is looking to make sure this bug is fixed. This will be released later next week.
