What are u talking about? Do u even play soccer? When I recieve a pass in this slow motion game it takes forever for the player to turn and move forward, even with skilled players like Nedved and Rui Costa. Maybe in your pee wee league it's that slow but not in the pros, they're extremely fast if ever watch them live. I don't get that feeling of adrenaline when you pass 3-4 guys in real life, in this game it's impossible 'cause you only have one trick move which is completely insane considering how many moves there are in soccer. How come they can do it for NBA live? These guys are used to watching too much English soccer, there's no flair or excitement in this game , it's boring period!Originally posted by Mex
Slow? maybe the players move too slow compared to the ball that seems like a pinball , but the payer speed is top noch, at least is better than the PES2
Leave it like that , football is slow game, want faster? go play hockey

why i won't like fifa 2004 from what i've seen from a demo
maybe its time ea sold its soccer franchise because they can't make a soccer game period and how can they when they are from canada. nfl, nhl, nba, and all other american sport has been improved but with fifa football 2004 its not going anywhere with ea. i'm sure if it were some european developer they could make fifa soccer better cause they understand soccer better

...So overall, I though it was a decent game, although I didn't get a real good feel for it, especially because the graphics are not rendered properly (at least not like the videos I watched), and the cameras on the demo were really sucky, I couldn't see the pitch very much. I liked it when I pressed Z for OTB, I thought that was a great angle.
I haven't played WE7 or PES3, but I have played WE6 and I can tell you that FIFA is really close to WE6. Besides some weird shooting going on at times, the ball physics, passing and lobing seem right on. That's just my opinion. I don't know how much better PES3 will be, but I don't think FIFA is going to be that disapointing, especially because with this much improved gameplay, and all other features, also a better rendering of the graphics (just like those from the FIFA site movies—the latest ones, and the game informer ones), this game will be a great contestant to PES3. I can already see a lot of people choosing FIFA because the game is really close to feeling like football, and because you can do a lot more than you would be able to with PES3.
OTB, great career mode (if it's not only 5 years like the demo said) and Footie Fusion, Online, EA Bios, Crowd chants, Licenses and real kits, etc...
I should say, I was very hyped up to play FIFA and now I just want the actual PS2 game to compare with the demo.
Then I'll want to play PES3/WE7 and make my judgement on what the best game is. For gameplay I think FIFA will not beat PES/WE for sure, but it'll be close, for everything else I'd choose FIFA.
That's my review for you guys.
