How long it takes to load the match..

Hi,
I just subscribed, like 5 minutes ago, does anyone know what dictates how long a match takes to load? Heres why im asking.

I used to have 11 men appear, the twelth man would flash 6 times, then the match would run.

I got a new mainboard, Abit nf7-s then it loaded after just 6 blokes appeared on the loading screen. Sometimes even 4.

I have re-installed windows, now eleven blokes appear and the 12th man flashes about twenty times, I could walk the bleeding dogs before it loads! Everytinh else is the same, drivers etc, whats going on!!

did u installed creation centre ?
because it caused me the same problem when i installed cc i unninstalled it and everything was ok

No I only have the basic game installed, full install of course!

Iwonder if my system isn't utilising the dual channel support for my memory??
There seems to be no way of knowing though!

you shouldn't as this is the official fifa site and the admins can hand your IP over to Fifa who can trace your exact position by it

if using a no cd crack is wrong how come the tango system used by such patches as the liga uruguay are allowed to do the same thing.I use one on my game, which i did purchase,which i do have a cd key for.what i dont need is to be asking ea for a replacement disc because it (the cd) never comes out of the box.

oh and fifa takes about 10 seconds to load from the joystick selection screen.Thats if im playing against the cpu, if its a multiplayer game it takes a little longer, im assuming because that both machines need to load and sync up to each other !

Mine takes about 10 sec. I put more memory in my computer.. Before I was waiting about 30 sec. Not it is really fast. The graphics look better to.

And don't tell me that "get a new pc" BULL SH*T. I'm running a p4 2.8 w/512mb ram, and the ATI Radeon 9700 PRO off the full install.

Then again, maybe I am just really impatient and have high expectations.

it should take less time to load on multiplayer because your comp wont have to load up the other team's AI

when i first bought the game and played it without any patches or nuthen it loaded up hella quick.. like 10 seconds - but now after installing all the patches and nonsense it takes about 2 minutes. ehhhhh

I always buy all my games, or trade them in a very legal shop in chesterfield UK, I admit to using a no-cd cr@ck, to save damaging my precious disks. It does breach the EULA as you are modifying the source code by applying it. I dont copy games and sell them, or download them off the net, that would make me a real criminal and id have to get a mask, a stripey jumper and a big bag marked 'SWAG!'.

my beef with the loading time is that after re-installing windows the loading time after joystick selection is taking 5 times longer than before, its total pants!
Stupid EA! And wheres the bleeding patch, useless bastards.

5 seconds for me, my 1gb ram, my radeon 9700 pro, and my athlon xp 2100+.

On my old machine which had 256mb ram and a ti4200, and an athlon 2100+ it took 10 secs.


And multiplayer MUST take longer : Pings and latency come into it.
