how to do black kits?

i have a white template . from this white template i wanna do a black kit without copying parts from other kits. how can I do that?

can't you just colour it the same way you do with differen't colours like red and blue?

how to adjust it? can u tell me step by step because with other colors i just do a new layer (multiply mode) and fill it with a color.

They dude is saying, whenever he tries to make a black kit, he does a new layer then multiply, but the color makes all the curves and details of the jearsy disappear. Hes asking how can he make it so the details behind the kit stay the same as they would behind lets say red or blue colors.

Change the opacity of the layer, not the style...
