How To edit The gamepad name on the regisrty plz help

come on fifa masters if any 1 got an idea on how to edit the gamepad name on the windows registry plz confirm me

type 'regedit' in run

i searched for Default Gamepad (or something like that) and changed all entries to whatever i wanted. I don't know if thats the best way.. and it can seriously screw your windows... so your call

Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, open SYSTEM, open ControlSet001, then Control, media properties, private properties, joystick, OEM.

view each folder (should look like VID_0428&PID etc) until you find the controller you have.

When you see you controller, double click where it says OEMName to the left of where its says the name of your controller, change it to "Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB".

This fools Windows into thinking your controller is the logitech one.

I've altered the pad name 'cos the guy above you says "Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB" works.

so should i use the d-pad and the right stick for free-style moves or it must be the analog

I use the analog as I'm no longer used to the d-pad.

Even if you use the d-pad, you'll need to leave the analog on for dribbling.

so u mean that i can use the d-pad while leavin the analog sitcks working ......if i do that the d-pad 'll enable the tactics ,,, i just want to use my right stick for the free style moves while ussing the d-pad :$

The d-pad gives only 4 direction in fifa 06 that sucks we need 8 direction for the d- pad like it does on the ps2
