Well here's what I know from what people have told me (some may not be facts, but just opinions):
A high number of ticket sales in friendlies depends on:
- your and your opponent's performance in friendlies
- your and your opponent's performance in the leagues
Regardless of some popular beliefs, it doesn't depend on:
- your or your opponent's ranking
Here's what I know for sure: When you play against a team at home more than once a week, even if you've won the first game, don't expect a higher attendance in the following home game. I played 6 friendlies with a team this week, and in all three home games I had the same attendance. So, perhaps the performances are collected on a weekly basis, and it reflects the upcoming week?
Let's figure this out........
