How to make avatars??

I'm new here on SG forum and I got a question:

How can I make different avatars? When I go in my profile I can only choose flags as avatars...

well u can make one using photoshop or uplaod your own ones. But u must keep it within restrictions which are 50 x 50 pixels

You can request for one at the "Signature / Avatar Request And Feedback Forum". BUT first you have to have at least 100 posts.
