How to stop rain in Fifa 2K3 ?

Dear friends,
Please tell me how to stop or disable rain in Fifa 2K3 stadiums ?
Because when rain starts in any stadium then frame rate drops to very low value and the game becomes unplayble.

put this in ur soccer.ini

RMRAIN_ENABLED = 0

Disabling rain on ALL stadiums:

1. Open the CFG_DEF.INI file located in the fifa2003\data\cmn folder.

2. Where it says, RM_RAIN ENABLED = 1 change the 1 to a 0.
So it should be RM_RAIN_ENABLED = 0.

3. Save and run the game and there won't be rain in ANY of the stadiums!

I have done this but the stadiums in Fifa2003 still have rain. Why?!
