Hrant Dink :(

I've just learned that Hrant Dink, editor of the Armenian origined newspaper Agos in Turkey, assassined in Istanbul app. three hours ago

I've had an opportunity to meet him in a dinner a year ago, he was a close friend of my professor in university, and all I can say for him with the two hours of knowledge is, he was such a great man.. he was sentenced for an unjust trail for insulting turkism, which he thought he would get an acquittal, and he had had a broken heart recently..

he struggled to keep strong relations between Turkish and Armenian people, he always said he is a Turkish Citizen with Armenian origin, opposed the France's accepted law in congress about Armenians, and always defended the freedom of speech in every aspect of life..

two suspects got arrested in about 3 hours, and are in custody..

Turkey's biggest news portal ntvmsnbc.com forums are full of condolences to Hrant Dink's family, to all Armenians and Turks..

Turkey have really lost such a great, and personally such a sweet man.. his presence will be missed.. such a sh*tty death for such a great guy.. (:/)

He once gave an interview with the Associated Press in which he cried while describing the hatred some Turks had for him, saying he could not stay in a country where he was unwanted.

this is a misleaded part of news.. Hrant Dink said that "I HAD NO INTENTION TO INSULT TURKISM but if I'll be found guilty on this trial, it would not be appropriate for me to live in a folk that I insulted.. Where would I go? Armenia?.. There's no escape from unjust accusings even in Armenia for me.. Europe?.. Every single time when I've been in Europe, I wish my occupation ends soon so I could go back to Turkey, I enjoy the life here...."
