Huge Demo Problem

When i start the demo, it keeps flicking through the languages itself, i timed it so i got United Kingdom, then at the team bit, all 6 (?) of the things were flicking around like mad and i coudnt do anything, whats the problem here?

I had the same problem. I unplugged the keyboard and then everything worked fine. Seems a bit strange though. Is my keyboard not compatible with the game? :o

I got this too. I tried unplugging everything: USB Hub (PDA, joystick, card reader and TrackIR attached to it), monitor's USB hub (gamepad attached to it), my USB mouse, my PS/2 keyboard, my speakers, no luck.

Same, select language menu is continually scrolling, also using usb keyboard and mouse.When I time it right and select my language everything is running in slow motion, so slow I havnt made it to main menu yet :S

I had the same problem with the language screen flickering like crazy.
Try this out:

Unplug your keyboard before you start the demo.
Click on the demo.
When it gets to the Language menu you will notice its not flickering anymore.
Then plug your keyboard on and it should no longer flicker.
Although the game is kind of slow....

Well hope it works out as it did for me....

There is no compatibilitymode for the Demo :boohoo:
My demo did the same, flickering within every menuscreen, so I unplugged some things like keyboard and mouse (cordless) but the problem persisted.
Once I unplugged my USB-Hub the problem was gone and I played the game without flickering. It runs real smoothly and fast too :)
The loading of the demogame is very fast as well so no complaining except that EA should fix this 'bug' before they release the full version IMO..

Q3: I'm having problems with some games when I try and run them with the Gamers' Keyboard plugged in - what can I do?

A3: There are a couple of known games that have issues with the presence of the Gamers' Keyboard; known titles that have problems are the moment are Planetside, Star Wars: Battlefront and Thief: Deadly Shadows. Other titles may exist that have problems but they have not been reported yet.

There is a possible solution though - Click Start>Control Panel and open the System in there (you may have to click Performance and Maintenance before you can see the System icon if you're running Control Panel in Category View) and then click Hardware at the top of the window that comes up and then click Device Manager. Click the plus sign next to Human Interface Devices in the list of devices and you should see one or two (maybe more) entries called USB Human Interface Device. You need to disable one of them by right-clicking it and choosing Disable from the drop-down list of options.

Note: If you have only two such entries there in Device Manager then only one will be able to be disabled - the other will have the disable option greyed out in the drop-down list when you right click it. If however you have more than two such entries in Device Manager then you will need to ewnsure that you disable the correct one. This is done by double clicking on each one in turn and looking at what it says next to Location on the Properties page. The one that should be disabled will say USB Gaming Keyboard Pro next to Location. Once you have disabled that then try the game again and it should work fine.

I had the same problem using a ps2/usb addapter.
You need 2 ps2 controllers plugged into the adapter for it to work.

I have this exact same problem. I've tried the solutions mentioned in this thread, like disabling the USB Human Interface Device with no success.

I have both a USB keyboard and mouse (the mouse plugs in through an in-built USB hub on the keyboard)

Is there nothing I can do to stop this stupid problem? I'd just like to play the game!

Does anyone of you it's necessary to do only one those things just to play? I don't think so!

It should be ready to play, no try to do this, try to do that. I'm really angry.

UNFORTUNATELY EA DID NOT FIX THIS HUGE BUG BEFORE RELEASE!!!
Just got it today, same s... happens... GOD DAMIT EA!!! :mad:
