As great as DiStefano & Co. were we wouldn't be the Real Madrid the world knows us by today if you didn't defect from Hungary and show up at our doorstep. But most importantly, thank you for showing the whole world how beautiful football is. All those that had the great privilege of watching you surely will never forget those images. I've only seen clips and heard stories from my father but the records speak for themselves. A million thanks.....(Y)RIP

A few weeks ago I had the chance to watch the 1960 European Cup final Real Madrid - Eintracht Frankfurt in front of 130,000 people at Hampden. It was amazing to see the legendary Real Madrid play with Puskas, Di Stefano, Gento, Del Sol and so on. Real Madrid won the match 7-3, Puskas scored 4 times. Definition of a legend (Y)
