Can we have a test with the camera angles most likely to cause the slowdown.
Most everyone's saying the slowdown's still there, although minimized.

Woodgate isn't at Real, Arsenal have Tablisi whatever he's called who should be at Ajax. Man Utd still have Forlan who should be at Villareal.
Other than that, most of the transfers are up to date and the depth of squads is amazing. This is by far the most accurate the rosters have ever been with a Konami release.
I've played about 20 games so far and suffered no slowdowns at all. Mind you I have the version with the September 3rd file dates and the newly promoted teams so I don't know if the old beta version had slowdowns still in there. The version I have I've tested on every camera angle.
It took about 15 mins to update the team names and the stadium names of the unregistered teams.

It has the real team names and stadium names (although the stadiums are listed under the WE8 section).

Dude, that's just a dumb thing to say. If some people experience no slowdowns it's because they're not getting slowdowns. It may be down to the difference between the full version and the beta version a lot of people have or it may be down to the model of PS2. I can guarantee you I have no slowdown and I've played on every angle for a good 5-10 minutes to check.

norwich city = northluck c
WBA = nextbaumedge (and they have kanu too)

france and engalnd still have their retired players i.e scholes, zidane, desially, thuram etc.
the position of real madrid is different from that in we8, therefore i would assume that it also includes promoted teams from spain and probably all the rest too
