This guy spaceface2000 is perfectly right, i myself saw the fifa2001 on ftp sites and many other ps2 games as well as dreamcast and psx. You get some files witch are 15megs each and then u burn it and play it.
SO PLEASE STOP THIS FIGHT, I DUNNO IF THE GUY HAS THE GAME OR NOT BUT I KNOW FOR SURE THAT THE PS2 VERSION OF FIFA2001 IS OUT.

they may be on the warez sites but there is one major problem here. the PS2 has not been released in north america or europe, and the games made for these two regions are not compatible with the japanese PS2...

The chip is 11 wire on the 10000 model ps2

Please SPACEFACE, are the fouls being called properly? What I mean is that in past FIFAs you could tackle a player from behind and not comit a foul, is that still happening in FIFA 2001?

SPACEFACE could be telling the truth guys, I now theres a mod chip for PS2 and the ISOs of PS2 are everywhere. But what I dont know about is if theres really a swap disk utility like the one for dreamcast.
PS2 uses DVD soh in order to work with a ISO CD thats smaller in size, they have to create a utility that lets you store a game in several cdroms to work and make it work as one.

u got it off an ftp right and burned it to CD...I was under the impression that all of EA's PS2 games are on DVDs - like Madden, NBA Live and SSX. It would make sense that Fifa 2001 would be DVD because they're improving the player models off the PC, and they have better textures.

It doesnt work for the PC it will only work if you have a PS2 and a swap disk program!!!!! THe PC ISO or RIP is NOT OUT YET.
