a lobby where everyone goes in and that's where you set up the games... i hope it's just not ip to ip

Must have something like this in order for us to play upto 7 people online like they have stated.

You cant have 7 people all joining thru Direct IP so must have some sort of Lobby to achieve this.

Not exactly. I remember hosting a Championship Manager game which had myself and 7 others, that was done through IP > IP

As long as it doesn't lag I am happy. And I guess they will have a looby, how else will you find games on the PS2?

How did it work on the Xbox for PES4 btw?

There will be about half a dozen lobbys in the game, a couple of these are divisional based (people from your division).
