He has only played WE8 a few times, but he insists that Fifa 2005 is the best soccer game and that its "amazing".

Now, we all know thats not true.

Does anybody have an official article/review out there that can really stick it to him. Im looking for something that goes along the lines of "If you truly know the game of soccer, you will realize that WE8 is the best soccer game on the planet". Ive searched a bunch of reviews but i havent found anything convincing. Maybe a review that compares both games and really trashes Fifa.

Hey Flyer don`t listen to Robbie Boy, he`s still a kiddo!

Anyways, you really can`t convert anyone with some reviews and impressions - either they love the game or they don`t, simple as that.

What he can do is play WE for a while..and then when he goes back to FIFA I guarantee you something..he will miss some parts that are unavaliable in FIFA and that is the GAMEPLAY.

Fifa SUCKS.. and thats that.

Well this is what I think. Don't try and "convert" your buddy like trying to convert someone to be another religion of something like that. Man why don't you just let him play the game he likes and you play the game you like and leave it at that. You guys talk about this stuff like its the biggest thing in the world. Please its only a game. Everyone has there opinion. So stop trying to "convert" and just get over it. :nape:

Well I have come to one great conclusion. It is up to the person to decide what is better.
As for reviews, I can point out how much those mean. Gamespots review of FIFA 2005 says that the Ref doesnt play advantage, which they clearly do if you play the game for more than 20 mins. Just because something doesnt show up in the top corner of the screen stating they are playing advantage doesnt mean it isnt happening. I will say its not as good as PES/WE advantage rule seeing as how in FIFA you have to have a clearing in front of who the ball was passed to or ended up with on your team for advantage to be played; and if the ball is lost from that player within 3 seconds of advantage the Ref will call the foul. Now lets take into consideration the review is from one of the "big boys" of game reviews. No review is going to mean anything since what I just stated shows how much a reviewer really knows. :rolleyes:
Let him play whichever game *HE* thinks is best and you can play whichever game *YOU* think is best.
As for me, I play both games and enjoy both for different reasons.

To me I just read reviews, I don't take them to heart, because its just one persons opinion, just let him play whatever game he feels like. The best way to prove him worng is to have him try your game and let him judge. Plus most reviews on the net arent even that accurate. Most of the times I see them give a game a bad review like a 6 or 7 and yet the reader reviews always give them like 8.0-10.0 now figure that one out. Just play the game you like and let him play what he likes.
