I Need Help With FIFA Games

OK, this might look a bit desperate but I need help when it comes to finding a FIFA game and editing it.

First of all, I 'm no newcomer when it comes to editing and such but recently I've run into a wall of troubles and I'm about to give up everything considering footbal gaming now.

It started when I bought a new computer with windows 7 and discovered that I no longer could play FIFA 09. Some stupid problem which made the players look like Frankenstein's monster with hands long as spears. Obviously no one has bothered to fix it in some way since it is a well known problem.

After searching on the net for solutions, I finally gave up and by chance happened to find a copy of FIFA 11 in a shop. So I decided to give it a try. The game itself was OK but when I started to try to edit some teams kits, the problem started.

I wrote a post about it in the FIFA 11 forum so I'm not gonna go into it here. I only have to tell that I couldn't import any kits, everything messed up.

Trying to post and find solutions on the FIFA 09 and FIFA 11 forums is meaningless because those forums are as good as dead. So I try here because first of all, since this forum at least seem to be alive I might get some answers and some help.

Should I buy FIFA 14? And if I do so, is it easier to create and import kits to the game and edit players or such? If not, what do I do then? I don't want to spend money on different football games and spend hours of editing just to find out that I can't import anything I want to the game.

I hope that someone can help me with thse issues.

It's hard to find some stuff on older Fifa forums, mostly because most people tend to move forward to the new games when they're released. Anyway, the difficulty in editing is relative since when everyone was editing Fifa 11, practicaly everything that could be done to the game had been done or so we thought, whereas in Fifa 14 we still find and may find something else to be edited... Differences are essentially the gameplay, graphics and the fact that every game since fifa 12 is harder to edit when it comes to adding leagues to it. 11 is a lot more edit friendly on that part. Other than that, most editing tools are not so different except for handling the difference in the games' files themselves.

First thing I'd suggest is reading a bit of info about it and check up if you have all the stuff those programs need in order to run. A lot of problems and errors come from some software a certain tool may need, be it .net framework or something else

Well, FIFA 11 might be more edit friendly but what can I do when there's nothing to edit with?

The only downloads I can find is the CM from hell, the 11.2 version.

Besides, looking for downloads on those virus-infected download sites which seems to be everywhere isn't that funny either.

Unfortunately it seems impossible to solve the Windows 7-FIFA 09 problem. If that could be done, my troubles would be over.
