hello Chau, that would be really nice!!! Here are the feature I miss in the current CC:

* import home, away, 3rd, goalie kit (one bitmap format)
* edit player name, age, nationality, height, weight, face type, haircut, hair and skin color
* edit player's jersey number
* edit team management: kick takers, positions, starting lineup, substities, reserves, captain
* move teams from one league to another
* create entire new league (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 teams) with national cup, possibility to play european cups, promotions, relegations,...

all this could be said simply: include all features that FEd2001 had

Obviously you are not going to be able to fill every request. I've already read some that seem impossible and/or ridiculous, but since I don't know what will be or won't be possible I'll add my two cents.

1. Ability to assign numbers to players. I honestly don't know why this wasn't there to begin with. It has been in every in-game player creation utility in Fifa I can remember.

2. Ability to assign captaincy. It currently seems to be halfway arbitrary. Ideally there would be a pecking order for captaincy, i.e. if Player 1 wasn't on the field, Player 2 would be captain, then Player 3, etc.

3. Ability to assign formations and lineups. Again, I don't know why this wasn't there to begin with.

4. Import/Assign commentary. There are a lot of players that might be in a created team with names already existing in the commentary database. Copying/importing commentary from players with "special" commentary might be a problem though. (There's more than one player named Ronaldo in the world, but you wouldn't want the commentators saying your "new" Ronaldo won the Golden Boot in WC2002.)

Personally, I don't think making it compatible with previous CC packages is a big priority. If its easy to do, great, but if not, don't bother. There aren't a lot of them floating around, and any that are in common usage (like an updated lineup) would be quickly remade. By April we'll only be 2 months away from summer transfers anyway.

I also wish more than 12 players could have special boots, but that seems to be hardcoded into the game so I didn't mention it above.

Import old FIFAs databases

Hi my friend and welcome back to us!

I think that the new CC should have, in addition to all the features mentioned by NERAZZURRI INTERISTA, the never enough invoked by myself ('cause I trust in the importance to keep all the past works made by the brave patch makers from over the world!!) chance to import data from old FIFA versions!

I know I'm surely awful boring with my continues request about this issue ('cause I asked for this many many times in the past on this forum after the FEd2002 release), but, please Chau, if possible, try to satisfy my request this time.

I feel the need to express You all my happiness and congratulations for this event that looks like a recognition, an acknowledgement to the maestry of a man who had demostrated that is possible to create great things working in silence and discreetness without having on its shoulders big forces like a name as EA Sports can put on the field, and to make a present of these masterpieces to the net-comunity without asking nothing but a simple postcard (while we pay a lot to have some things like FIFAs that one reason or another would be soon forgotten as pieces of disappointment without Your FEds to support'em)!!!

Don`t wanna spam or anything Chau, but screw EA !!!! Together with Sylvain, both of you can make smaller sized and more reliable editor in just a week, than EA and their "honourable proffesional staff" in a year. **** `em, why is it so long for them to finally ask one of you to make an editor yet they already knew that CC was suck as hell from our feedback months ago. And altough this next update I believe it`s gonna be great, I do think that unless you got good money for making it or EA make an official statement to apologise to their fans and editors about the retarded CC they made before, the tool shouldn`t be called EA FIFA 2003 Creation Centre ver 1.5, I think it should be called Chau`s FIFA 2003 Editor ver 1.0. And people GIMME A HELL YEAH IF YOU AGREE WITH ME !!!! CHAU DESERVE SOME CASH AND HIS NAME TO BE PUT IN THE NEXT UPDATE !!!!!

And oh yeh almost forgot, my other suggestion : make the update to be smaller in size, no bigger than 5 MB if possible.

It looks like EA's waking up finally to ask you to do the editing, all I want CC to do is choose captaincy and add a player to the game and if possible that the commentator in the game can mention the new names as well but that's just a wish

The 16 & 24-bit compatability would be absolutely wonderful. I'd love to be able to work on the CC on my laptop wherever I am, and just move the .PKG file over to my main computer to install.

I would like to be able to create a competition that is larger than 20 teams...I'm (slowly) working on a historical NASL patch, and in 1979 the NASL had 24 teams...I don't want to have to leave four teams out.

I'd also like to be able to create the teams first and THEN create players directly into those teams. It seems somewhat counter-intuitive to create the players first...maybe that's just me, though, since nobody else mentioned it.

-enable ansessories (cycling shorts, sock tape) for all players
-if possible enable short gk sleeves
-if possible the ability to exchange players, teams, ect from one package to another

i think there should be an option to upload new faces like face raptor but less complicated, when you make a custom team you should be able to choose their numbers and the colour of the letters and numbers. i think there should be an option to change the boots of players including main players which you cant usually change features of, and have all the new boots there like the new predators in all colours. cheers if you could do this the game would be much better than it alreadfy is

Fantastic news. Just make a FEd 2001 for FIFA 2003, that one was realy great. Package system et cetera. And the importantst feature: edit existing DBI's in data\cmn\fe and don't create new files in a special map with registry entries...
