They had AOL in Australia?!?

But seriously, I joined because of SGF, which years later is the only reason why we have such a vibrant Polish community on these boards.

I remember that the only thing I actually downloaded, and got working(and many hours of installing and uninstalling, THEN uninstalling the game and re-installing the game to ensure that it was fully operable again), was some guy's boot selector. Boy, am I glad I gave up on gaming.....
