Bayern could beat Real Madrid this year. Of course, Zidane would have to miss the match because of injury and so would Raul, Ronaldo, Figo and Roberto Carlos. I'll give you Morientes, but he would have to be recovering from some sort of food poisoning or something, and be really queasy the whole match. Oh and Bayern officials would have to slip a few euros to the ref before the match. Yeah, then Bayern can definitely win. ;)

Can't agree with that, because despite a center midfield of Zidane and Figo, Ballack can hold it down, and control the game. Seriously, Bayern got the deal of the century when they bought him. He really is better than Figo at the very least.

By the way, I didn't mean to be disrespectful, but it's hard to believe Bayern are better than Real. Ballack's a great player, sure, but he's no match for Zidane. And what do Bayern got up front that can match Raul and Ronaldo? That's a nightmare duo for any defense in the world.

That is an ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS statement,what the hell is wrong with you?:D for starters they dont even play in the same damn positions,ballack is a great player already im sure he'll get better at bayern, figo wont be controlling things in midfield b'cos hes busy tormenting the opposition full backs holding the midfield is not his duty.

hey whats up man i think Real Madrid is good but i think Bayern Can beat them why because we also have 2 good Forwards Elber, and Pizarro. they are good Players that haven't been mention like Ronaldo, and Morientes. so Watch out cuz Bayern Will play well in the champions. they don't have to spend lots of money like Real. Bayern players play for the FUN! OF THE GAME!. and Real just play cuz they have too. maybe some play for the fun! I just think Bayern Can be better. and COME ON WE WILL SEE GUYS. I realize that isn't what Figo is supposed to do, but when Ballack can stuff Figo all the time, and mark him out of the game, and at the same time score goals, well, who do you think is better?

I dont want us to keep arguing about the merits of individual players in either side, but by the time figo shimmy's(is that even a word ) the absolute hell out of him :D his toes will be so hot from stopping and starting he'll have to be subed. Seriously though,even if he manages to do that what about zidane,ronaldo hell even roberto carlos? that means he'd be defending most of the time. hes the outstanding player in the midfield for bayern but madrid have several most who arent defensively inclined.

if you look at recent form and at the UEFA super cup, how well did Real play..... even Feyenoord who are pretty strong team couldnt match it with them.

Sorry guys but you're wrong. I'm not saying that Ballack is the whole team, not at all. First of all you guys don't think Bayern are good because their players have mostly been career Bundesliga-ers, and that league gets no respect. Roberto Carlos is good yes, but he has never excelled against Bayern in the yearly Bayern vs. Real game that inevitably ends with the winner going to the CL Final. Zidane is also good, but like Figo won't come back. He can be the best player in the world like some believe, but against 11 defenders in the Bayern box, he isn't doing anything. Ronaldo is trash, see my earlier post about him. Raul is good, but once again, against the full team defence, the same system that got Valencia the Spainish League and two CL Final appearences, he'll be ineffective.

I have never said Bayern are a junk team. I have too much respect for them to say that.

About Ballack, He is a great player but when you compare him to a world player of the year it's non-sense. Last season Figo was hurt the entire year, that's why he looked like sh*t. But if you watched the game against Feyenoord and a couple other he has been in this preseason, he is back in world class form.

Ahh well, No use arguing it right now. We will see when the time comes in the CL.:)

I don't think Real is an invincible team; the invincibility not exists.
They already have won 3 champions league in 6 years.
Do you think Real will win another champions league in next years ?
Not....last year they have won their last cup.
I think many, many years have to spend for thei next cup.
Their cycle is already finished; their team is too old and Ronaldo is a man of ****, a carcass, an ungrateful the most bad man I have ever seen.

In Inter he has played 1 year, for another 3 he has been paid without playing. Chairman Moratti has also renewed
his contract when he was injured and everyone in the world was doubtful about his career
In italy all people for those years hope he returned great, we were happy for his victory in World cup, i was touched.
But now we are very angry in front of this half-man...blame...blame and blame yet.

Trust me and I'm telling you from what happened at Lazio, Crespo will only play good if the support is playing good and he does not score in important matches, compared to Ronaldo who proved he's great in the clutch.

You soon will realise what we Lazio fans realised Crespo is not that good you'll see, This is coming from someone that has seen him play for the past two seasons.

We will see Real Fans! I bet you Bayern will beat Real if they play again! the last time they played Bayern beat them 2-1. and they will do it again even if Ronaldo is there. One because RONALDO IS A BALL HOG. if they give it to him. he will show off by doing it by himself!
