which one is the most important to the fans and players, the league or the champions league?

It depends. Champions League is the most important for clubs who have already win their League in last years, like Barcelona in Spain , Chelsea in England, Bayern in Germany or even Lyon in France.

The league is the first purpose, but Champions League is maybe more prestigious for fans.
Anyway, both CL and League are interesting for any team..

Both equally imporant to me.

-League is important to prove that what Wenger and Arsenal do is correct and that beautiful football can prevail

-Champions league is what wenger deserves and I would love to get revenge on Barca at some stage and give the neutrals more of the attacking spectacle they were hoping for. Btw in the lead up to this match Arsenal were seriously underrated but thats another story

thanks you know i have always liked champions league but one of my friends said that the press makes it seem like the champions league is more important, but for the players and fans the national league is more important

The domestic league is like the entrée (? (main part of a larger dinner)), it's the most important competition. While the Champions League is like the dessert, the sweetest and "best" part.

For the fans, the domestic league is more important so that you have bragging rights, but to the club, the CL is important because of the high revenue.

In my opinion. I like the league more because the matches are genuine rivalries, not just a week of venom between you and a team you won't see again for 5 years.

The CL for sure. More money, global stage, and you've outplayed 31 of the best teams in Europe (starting with group stage). That being said, it's not nearly as prestigious if another team topped you in the league that same year.
