i68Controller 2.1 released!
The new version of the suite (2.1) is been released now,
optimized for operate with Fifa 16 without losing compatibility
with the previous chapters of the game.
There is nothing outstanding in this update, only small improvements,
a bit of debugging and especially
the changes necessary for the
proper management (on Fifa16) of the local databases, still quite
complicated, but perhaps a little easier than last year: in fact, to edit
our language strings, we can simply add as new (or edit) in the updated
dbfile contained in data_patch.big!
In this regard, I updated the patch to fix the team names
of the Italian Serie B: EA has done a fair bit of confusion with fake teams…
assigning to Ascoli (Borgocalcio) the id 1847 (historically belonged
to Vicenza, when it should be 1846) and to Virtus Entella (the improbable
Brisigonza) the new id 113147 instead of the one used last year…
Meanwhile I also adjusted the names of all unlicensed Argentine
and Portuguese teams

every time you need more detailed instructions on how to use the
various functions of the program!
Here and in various other forums, I read constantly of people
who spend much of time looking for instructions to install this or that,
getting lost in complicated manuals procedures that often lead to errors
and disclaimers.
Why? All you need is in the i68Controller!
Download the database!
Make a backup (the function is there, just press the right mouse key!),
make sure that the program is properly initialized (LOG button)
and from then on… USE the Installer (no need to regenerate every time)!
It works with the giant Moddingway Mod which has also his setup
tested and perfectly efficient;
it works with the Revolution Mod (!!), whose installation is essential
if you want to take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities it offers;
it works with thousands of .rx3 files and patches in .rar archives
that you can found on the net.
Simply, IT WORKS.
Obviously, those who are really familiar with the game structure
can easily do without it...
but many think they are experts and they are not...
Other pleasant follies when it comes to playing online with our edited Fifa…
you don’t need fanciful processes or delete this and that:
just use the Launcher by selecting the desired option!
I still remember that the regeneration of the indices (the Regenerator)
is only needed when you install the files manually
or as the first “cure” when, as a result of a change,
you do experience a crash unexpectedly.
This year I hope to have time to explain to those who are less
accustomed to experiment on their own (instructions are in the special
page, on the i68Creations site), which and how many possibilities offer the use
of the Merger and of the commands scripts (all those for the management
of the kits and of the language strings are already operational),
for whom I am completing the predisposition of a simple and
pratical user interface (the Scripter, which will be added in version 2.2).
