i play 2 forwards, 1 LM, 1 MC and one RM all running right to the top and 2 DM and 2 CB with mexes as a sweeper. i seem to concede PATHETIC goals, whilst not condeded a whole, but give about lotsa important ones. any idea? it used to be 3 CB till i change to sweeper to prevent more goals. my defenders are really good (nesta, coloccini, matteo ferrari etc) and my goalies are abiatti and reina (whose young and lets in lotsa howlers, his work rate is too low me thinks)

any suggestions?? also my strikers just can't seem to finish on certain days.

For me i play 4 defenders and 4 Mids with the MR and ML making runs to the top, i have good crossers so i put a lot of focous on the wings with good crosses to make forwards of headers.:)

For Milan i would play a conter-attack tactic just because of the league they are in and the kind of team they have. I have Real Madrid so i play very attacking.

3 at the back doesnt really work. i used to play that and i kept getting hit with long diagnal balls into the channels. and kept getting pasted every match. 4-4-2 is the best way to play. having said that, im still tryin to tinker my 4-4-2 tactic to stop me conceding silly goals. i think, for my team though, its more to do with the lack of quality defenders thats causing this. i need to buy some better defenders................

True, so far Pavon and Mexes have held my back line good, Raul Bravo is truning into the next Carlos:rockman: I have no backups for my right side thou:kader: If Salgado gets long term injury i have to play Minambres:kader: o well i am still looking for a good young defender right. I agree 4-4-2 seems to work best in CM.

i read somewhere that a portuguese rb is great. paulo gomes i think his name is. cheap too............ might not be in ur game though if u dont hav portuguese league running. he wasnt in mine.................... but worth looking...................

well i got like 6 good def. Woodgate, mexes, nesta, matteo ferrari and coloccini.

also it seems my tactic is going well. i've won about 16 and drew 10 and lost 1 game so far in serie A, i've conceded only about 12 goals (best record) and scored 50 or above. it seems my strikers have been finding the net finally! and my defence is solid since i replaced that useless Reina with Abbiati

simply put, CM0304 doesnt like anything less than 4 at the back.

any player runs? i'll have design a new formation for the new season since my playetrs are used to my 3 - 2 - 3 - 2 already i dont wanna make a new formation. i'm in the CL final and 1 draw away from serie A

It seems like I get 3-thousand-and-two ****in 1-on-1 chances in every match, and (if I'm lucky) 3001 go over the bar :kader: :kader:

I have the likes of Owen, Cisse, Baros, etc. :rolleyes:

woops. Sorry, I just didnt read ur post carefully. I saw many numbers and thought u were takling about one of these strange formations out there :p

I do not agree. It is all relative to who is in the defensive 3 and whether you play a DMC in front of them or 2 MC with defensive mentalities. Or Wingbacks, who can defend. I've won on the demo with 3 DC's....
