Idea that will add excitment to premiership

I was just thinking about how boring the premiership is during the last couple of weeks and I believe I have an idea on ho to change that. I believe the premiership should take the idea of the 3'rd spot tournament for the nationwide league and reverse it. The 20th and 19th place team should be relegated straight away but I think the 18th, 17th, 16th, and 15th spot teams should have a little playoff to decide the 3rd team thats going to be relegated. So 18th would play 15th and 17th would play 16th. The 2 losers from those games would play eachother, the loser being religated.

I think this would add alot of excitement and put a lot of pressure on the mid table teams to not finish 15th. Remember this is just and idea and I would like to here your comments on it

Crap idea. Teams works hard to achieve Premiership status, doing that would undo the hard work the lower teams achieve buy surviving relegation. Have you been taking the same drug as Sep Blatter?:confused: :p

imagine a small team that plays a great season and finish as 15th and just before the playoffs their 3 best players are injured so the team would lose the playoffs and get relegated
that would be pretty unfair

stupid idea, the team in 15th could be nearer 4th place points wise than they are to 18th and could get relegated

Another point. If you finish 18-20, you deserve to go down because you are the worst teams in the league and arent good enough to be in the Premier division. Imagine this 15th place could end up 12 points ahead of 18th place, yet still be relegated because of a playoff. If you are 18-20 you deserve to go down.

The 15th team finishes in the 25th percentile, so they are better than a quarter of all the other teams in the leage. Why on earth should they be going down?

that is the worst idea ive heard in my life, are you blatter in disguise? the team that finnishes 15th doesnt deserve to go down, the team in 18th does.

Well u cud say the team that finishing 4th (nationwide leagues) deserves to go up more than the team that finishes 7th....

but i'm a cobblers fan so meh :p

who wins the premiership? the team that has been more consistant during the season. Who gets relegated? The teams that have been consistantly bad that season. Is unfair to the teams that have been consistantly better, to have to fight even more for the relegation, while giving the 18th place finisher a chance to save themselves when they have sucked all year and show they deserve to get relegated
