I love gameplay of Fifa 08, really much better than fifa 07. Fifa 08 is pure simulation, fifa 07 is bored, arcade and very, very, very easy.

Fifa 08 is pure S H I T! Fifa 07 is easy if you are GOOD and use powerful teams. In fifa 08 the difficulty is because CPU plays as if it uses magic, the same as in 2002 and previous versions which takes realism away. Fifa 07 has the most realistic gameplay i have seen.

Also graphics suck in fifa 08. Everything looks like very cloudy, unlike fifa 07 where everything was smoother. In resume, only very few features such as more teams available, better armband and some other additions are the only one good upgrade. Everything else went simply backwards. And im not that kind of retarded who always are against upgrades, but the opposite. But upgrades are meant to go forward, unlike in 08.

Im easy. Its just that i cant believe what you say. But its your opinion and i really envy you feel satisfied with the game. Despite i dont find any reasons to feel satisfied with... But dont take me wrong. Of course i know it has improvements. But those improvements would have been better if they dont downgrade the achieved in fifa 07.

I completely agree with everything you said! I wish for a fifa 07 gameplay patch for 08 (because of some other things i like in 08- like manual through ball, co-op mode...)

both fifa07 and fifa08 are using the same engine game.. but fifa08 is the best tuned engine by the developer itself. they know what and how to fully utilize the engine. the default world class difficulty is the best and about the keeper difficulty you can lower its level if you find it's too hard to master i haven't play the legendary difficulty because it's still unlock

In FIFA 07 in ini.big there were files ai.ini, jersynum.ini, userdiff.ini and cpudiff.ini. In FIFA last two 08 files are not present. They were responsible for individual characteristics of the football player operated by the player or komppjuterom. How now it is possible to change a gameplay? How to force a computer less often perepasovyvatsja and to throw back a ball in protection, and to put to a thicket and from any distances impacts on a gate of the opponent? Why at simulation low productivity? (0:0,1:0).

Fifa08's stock gameplay, while sometimes annoying, is miles better than 07. In Fifa07 you could score ridiculous goals from crazy distances and angles, hit volleys with ease, this is just not the case in 08. I have scored a number from outside the box but I think only once from more than 30m. Ive only hit one volley from distance on target the entire time i've had the game Yes, its lame, but I'd rather have the 08 system than the 07 one. Body position and footedness do make alot of difference too.

My biggest problem with 08 is that there is no way possible to hit a low shot hard. Every shot from distance with power is a high one. Only volleys can be hit low, and then so by fluke.

No ridiculous goals and no crazy distances at all in fifa 07. If you have a player with good shot accuracy and long shot then its natural he can score from far distances. Unlike Fifa 08 where even players with 99 in all attributes miss very easy shots just like if the keeper was using a magic barrier to protect his goal. So unrealistic and stupid. Lowering keepers level doesnt resolve the problem either, because if you lower the level then even keepers that are supposed to be good because of their attributes become so stupid too, so having a separate difficulty level only for the keeper makes no sense.

Fifa is just BS..i just getting tired with PE**** and turn to FIfa..well i see now both are ****..the cpu will always wanna win. they will do anything to win including cheat. wen the game almost end up draw maybe,their player will dribbling in a straight line across the field and evading my player easily, and harmlessly and even maybe shoot with eyes closed.**** ****..im waiting for their next series which i heard gonna be the next bull****. hope PES09 will get better or maybe even bull****!

I agree that for some reason the game will decide it is time to lose and your shots go over or the golie magnitizes it to him and the cpu just goes straight past you and scores.

Very frustrating and at the moment I regret buying this after the last FIFA I owned was 04 and that was fun but this is anything but.

Well I am shelving this as I can't get past the obvious bias against the user v pc, my attacks are wasted and if the score is close then I know the computer will just charge past.

I'll check back every now and again but this has been a waste that's for sure

Anybody tried, working on formation roles? It's situated in the formation menu of CM 08. When ı chamged the value of the positions, ı got some good feedbacks. Like more realistic midfield play and attacking wingbacks.
