IE help

i want to re-install IE
how do i do this?

if u r using XP:

1. insert the xp cd in ur drive
2. go to start --> run and type this

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 cwindows\inf\ie.inf

3. press enter

if u r using ME:

1. U can use IE eradicator to completely remove ur IE

2. reinstall back ur IE from any source

OR

1.cLick Start >Run >type regedit {enter} Navigate to the following key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Active Setup \ Installed Components \ {89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383} In the right hand pane find the value "IsInstalled" right click it, select modify, then change it to 0 (thats a Zero!)...

2. datz all..reinstall IE back!!

what if i dont have xp cd?
i just have the recovry cd that came with my laptop?

or try to use the registry technique

i was able to re-install without the xp cd
jsut went to add remove programs then xp setup.
