So what is everyones opinion now after seeing all those 10 movies?

I've watched all of them, and seeing as they are from a newer pre-beta build, I think you can all finally see what FIFA 2004 is all about.

The new free style move where you stand with the ball and do a trick over it as your opponent just watches on waiting for you to make a move looks awesome.

Personally, it has impressed me... how about you?

OH-MY-GOD! Holy,, mann,,,
I cannot EVEN BEGINNNN to tell you how much i can't wait for the 28th of October!! DID YOU GUYZ hear THAT CROWD!!!!!??? OMFG! This is simply amazing,, it's as if i was THERE in OLD TRAFFORD! the action looks JUST as impressive! Moreover, during shots on goal, the ball does not seem to move at the speed of light anymore!!! Graphics look amazing, and as Matt mentioned, the way the player does that freestyle move as his defender watches on is great.
OH YEAH!, and i cannot forget to mention how SMOOTH and FLUID the commentary is! Also, it seems that the AI in fact WILL be able to intercept the "off the ball passes". (there's an example in one of those videos where the AI heads away one of them).

I always had faith in EA about FIFA 2004. ughhhhh.. Why can't we speed up time??!

One thing though,, i noticed that, just as in FIFA 2003, when you pass to your team mate, the receiving player just stands STILL until the ball reaches him, giving the opponent ample time to intercept it. this makes me wanna cry. i was hoping they'd fix that. *sighh* =-/

But other than that, this game looks and sounds inexplicably marvelous!

after watching all the videos all i can say is that i am a little worried with the running animations and tthe ball movement,it seems that the ball has the same speed always;anyway the graphics are looking good and i hope to see more south americans teams *cough,Olimpia, cough*

Starting XI
Quite good stuff by the looks of it, one thing is the free kick, there is no need for the goalie to dive if the ball is going so far over the bar. but its minor

Club America, UNAM, Boca Juniors, and River Plate, damn EA has impressed me beyond words can't wait til the end of October. The America kit is old though :(

I wish EA would spend less money on bringing in expensive soundtracks (and so many!) and a little more on the licenses or other stuff.

Of course if the interface hasn't changed you'll be spending a lot of time fiddling with the menu's while the music plays. ;)

But it's cool to see they've added a nice share of south-american teams.
I'm anxious to watch the movies.

great graphics, great stadiums great cut scenes, great sound and commentary, great soundtrack...

but the likes of del piero and raul still firing away 300mph shots with laughably outstretched legs, even when they are but 5 meters away from the goal...not one single tip-in or one scrambled, random ball that someone puts in... the net still behaving like a wire cage, the same slide-dashing across the pitch like jesus over water and the rubberband-to-the-foot ball physics, the same overexaggerated loop of high balls...

dunno, but in terms of gameplay to me it all looks like the same old thing and why should EA for once surprise me...

"the net still behaving like a wire cage"?????

They didn't score any goals in those movies... how did you see how the net behaved? These are the only movies out there from a beta build of FIFA 2004.
