Starting XI
Baros is one of my favorites to watch, and the only Chelsea forward, at the moment id hesitate to swap him for is Gudjohnson. Yes, he may only look world Class for the Czech Republic, but as TA says, its the other things he seems to be able to do to influence the match. Even playing as a lone striker, he gives effort and works tirelessly to get in space and on the end of whatever ball is played up. Too often you see the lone striker wander aimlessly near the backline, but Baros seems to track back and actually work to get the ball forward. I dont wanna join in on the verbal gangbang of Drogba, but if he had only shown maybe half the heart i saw from baros yesterday, well, it makes me wonder about the guy :nape:

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
Baros is sort of like a Ruud Van Nistelrooy..can score a lot of poacher' s goals but with a quality attacking midfielder such as, oh I don' t know, Pavel Nedved he can do much more. Once Didi Hamann settles down (1 to 2 games hopefully) I think that Gerrard can get back to playing that role. Baros' crossing (even if not the longest of crosses) and ball possesion skills are sometimes what let him down but he gives it his best everytime and that' s all you can ask for. :rockman:
