Ok so yesterday i got the original game after playing with a copy for a few weeks :) in all honesty ididnt think i was that bad a player (not good, but definitly not the worst :) ) but ive played 30 games over 2 days and lost 23 drawn 7, admittedly 8 or 9 of these were using watford :) but the rest using liverpool, i cant score, honestly i can do everything else but score, 1v1 at home i can scramble a few goals, against the cpu i can get a few, online ive scored about 6 in 30 games :) Is it me or is it really that hard?

one thing i have noticed is that it doesnt feel right, it doesnt have the same slick feel as playing 1v1 on 1 pc, maybe its just me :) but it sucks :)

online is like playing a different game. You have to learn to adapt to it. Lag cheat and of course another human brain involved so its all about playing it smart.

I started very bad as well around %30 win but im upto 50 on two account other one is %62

No. Online play is not difficult. It's just that the shooting is terribly f*cked up that we're supposed to use some sort of new technique to get it right and "get used to the new system". Those who've somehow gotten used to that system or who simply take very fast wingers and reach the penalty box then pass it to an empty man to score are the ones who win most matches online if you haven't noticed. I once lost 1-0 to a person with 2 shots while I had 16.
They seemed to have fixed that problem in WE10JL but I don't think that game's available on PC.
Anyway, it would've been great if shooting was the only problem with online play, but then come the cheaters which make up probably more than 3/4 of the online community and totally ruin the experience. KONAMI should've figured out a way to enhance the security of online play like Blizzard did with their games but KONAMI doesn't care.

I noticed the fast wingers n cut back which to be honest i dont think ive done too badly against! im not that bad at defending nor going forward just the end product :(

I recommend you just to have fun. That's the main reason why we buy games. I remember me in old days, cursing right and left as a result breaked gamepad and wasted hours of my life. Forget about loses, Lose it's just a game where you "Didn't Won" and your opponent outplayed you. That's alright.

First try to use some good teams, like Brazil. Get a touch of the game, learn moves, feel like it's new single player for you and than when you get good constantly try to challenge yourself by picking lower class teams. You will get good overtime, proved by billions of peoples worldwide ( What i mean is you gotta practise)

So my main statement is that if you won't have fun, you won't suceed. And you probably end up being a loser like me, living in hell and bitchin with peoples who did crap on Earthrealm (As a result, Bush will even get cooked someday)

:) i dont mind losing, afterall like you say it is a game, i just wasnt sure if it was me, now im certain :)

As for team selection, i would rather pick an average team (watford liverpool west ham) and lose than the obvious and win, but im now 32 n 0 so i rekon its time to try brazil :)

PLay 2vs2 with medium/small teams and it is a lot of fun. Game is spoiled by impossibly fast players and the same gols over and over 1v1 with big teams.

well my stats now say played 49 won 1 drawn 12 lost 36 or there abouts, funny, i dominated brazil with chelsea 3-1 up lost connection to player, same to barcelona 1-0 lost connection, lost count how many times that happened, or playing with no lag at all for 60 mins in a tight game then go 1-0 down and all of a sudden its laggy as hell and unplayable, hell i thouhgt it was a game and was played for fun, not life and death and winning is everything.

I really have to say the way online plays or this game is played online this is the biggest letdown ive had in gameplaying or online play ever, ahh well its early days, its funny play 2 different ppl they both use inter and have a good close fair game with 1 but the other everyone of his players is like a steamroller and runs over everyone of yours, lol, now im sounding like a sourpuss :)

ahh well, back to west ham and a close defeat :)

You definately have the good approach though. I started playing online since PES5. Before that i always played offline on ps2 against the pcu. I thought i was really good but man did i get owned online!!!! It took me some time to adapt. I realised i just had to become a better player, maybe even start using some tricks. Anyway, it got a little better, and i'm doing ok now.

As you i dont mind loosing as long as it was a fair and (fairly) lag free game.

In the end you will become a better player. And...who cares about points.
I do hate the laggers and the ppl with abusive comments. The only solution to that is getting reliable ppl on your buddylist.

Ill gladly play some games if u want. im usally on in the evening on weekdays.
im in holland so 1 hr before yr time.

Playing the cpu thing, its not like i ever thought i was good, i was maoning about my bro allways beating me not long back :) n he`s poop (sry mark) :) its all good, well apart from me :) lmao i`ll message you, maybe we can sort a game or 2 out
